2019 Jakarta WordCamp
I attended the 2019 Jakarta WordCamp, the only conference about all things WordPress.
The event was great, and I was excited. Great topics for both technical and also non-technical.
There are two sessions; technical and non-technical. We covered some topics about how to build a fast website, static site, AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), PWA (Progressive Web Apps), Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and hosting in the technical session that I joined. We covered the tools or plugins for them.
I chose two workshops at the registration moment. But just one that I joined because they are running at the same time, that is the plugin development workshop.
Honestly, this website is not running on WordPress. I built this website from scratch, exclusively.
I love to build software from scratch. I have tried a lot of open source software in PHP such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Pimcore, and also open source framework such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePHP, and maybe more. I built a lot of web apps in PHP both without and with open source software.
On WordPress, I have built a lot of custom theme and plugin for my projects. I am going to publish some of them to the public in the future.
